As of today I have decided to close down my photo blog.

It's been obvious to me that I just can't keep both blogs updated so I will continue to share my words and photos on my regular blog. You can also always find my photos on my flickr.

has got to be one of the cutest things I have ever laid eyes on. Oh how I long for her to stay little like this forever.

going back...catching up.

I'm just now getting to some of the photos from T's school program. I've actually wanted to put the video of her singing on my blog because she was so funny. My mom told me she reminded her so much of me. I am a bit frightened by that news.

tell me about you.

I haven't gone through my Christmas photos yet. To be honest I didn't take very many. I tried hard to make it about the moment instead of messing with my camera. I have to say I so enjoyed feeling like I was more apart of opening the gifts.

Actually I have a lot of photos on my card from this past week that I need to look through, but just haven't found the time. I'm trying to do too many things.

Anyway I'll get to my point....on my words blog today I was inspired to create a list of 100 things about me. I thought it was such a great idea and have learned so many things about other bloggers that I wanted to share it with all of you. I would love to get to know those individuals who are getting to know me through my photos and words. So here is a link to my list. 10 favorite of 2006 challenge

Frederique gave a challenge to pick your favorite 10 photos of 2006 including a caption that could not exceed 5 words. This challenge was, well a challenge and very informative for me. I thought it would just be something fun to do, but proved to be very beneficial for me. Thanks Frederique for letting me be apart of it!

I can't believe what I learned about myself while filtering through my photos. I've grown a lot this past year creatively and technically; however, I have so much more I want to accomplish as a photographer or maybe I should say as one who loves photography. It has been so good for me to get this perspective I've needed on my work. Something I didn't consider when taking on this challenge. I still have so much to learn and am so looking forward to what this year will hold for me.

Here are the 10 I chose. It was hard so to make the decision. I have fallen in love with so many photos this year. So of all the photos I love I chose the ones that were significant to me in 2006.

Since she's in school all day I'm finding it harder to take photos of her because let's face it when she gets home from school the light is already leaving. I am working on something so I wanted the same kind of light and feel I got when I took photos the other day of my younger girls.
